Top-100-Kandidaten für Best Chef Award bekannt
The Best Chef hat offiziell die 100 Kandidaten für seinen Award 2020 vorgestellt. Dieser wird im Rahmen der dreitägigen Food Meets Science-Konferenz vom 21.–23. September 2020 in Rotterdam vergeben. Jedes Jahr werden 100 neue Köche von den unabhängigen Partnern von The Best Chef’s ausgewählt. Frankreich, Spanien, die USA, Brasilien, die Niederlande und das Vereinigte Königreich stellen die meisten neuen Kandidaten für die Liste 2020 dar. Außerdem haben sechs Köche aus Deutschland Chancen auf den Titel.
Die Abstimmung für den The Best Chef 2020 beginnt am 1. April. Dabei ist nicht nur die Gesamtwertung interessant, sondern auch die verschiedenen Kategorien, welche sich von #Risingstar bis zu #Legend erstrecken. Alle Köche, die 2019 auf der Liste standen, sowie die neuen Kandidaten für 2020 werden eingeladen, für ihre Kollegen zu stimmen. Darüber hinaus sind an der Wahl auch Food-Experten, Fotografen und Feinschmeckern beteiligt, für ihre Lieblingsköche zu stimmen.
The Best Chef 2020 – neuer Award gelauncht
2020 gibt es außerdem erstmals die Preiskategorie „Science“-Award – eine Auszeichnung für den Koch, der sich in puncto Forschung, experimentelle Techniken und Transformation hervortut.
In der letzten Phase des Abstimmungsverfahrens können die Anhänger der sozialen Medien für ihren Lieblingskoch stimmen und diesen mit dem Preis The Best Chef fol-LOVERS auszeichnen.
